ABOUT THE EVENT
Foreign Affairs with Future Leaders is a series of youth-led discussions which analyze various international issues and topics by collaboratively addressing their most critical questions. They are co-hosted by the Onero Institute and the Delta Phi Epsilon Professional Foreign Service Fraternity at GWU.
In this discussion, we will examine the evolving and intensifying relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran. How does the history between the two nations impact their relationship today? What has changed within each country and in Iran-Saudi Arabia relations over the past few years? Where do their national objectives and ideologies conflict? What can we expect in the future? Where do young people fit into this dynamic? And, how do these dynamics influence the Persian/Arabian Gulf region and the Middle East at large?
